I got a complaint.

Well, past 2 days i have been helping out alot, my main thing is the doors. people would buy them and not be able to give out keys or sell them. So i have fixed them ALL. i log on the next day all of apartent "B" the doors were earsed. (blank) had to spend another 30 mins fixing them and ajusting prices. PLEASE dont touch the doors, thank you

Do what ever you want, i give up on it untill it gets fixed, i set the doors on vacan and a price, 1-2 hours later when i leave come back, the doors dont have anything on them. :S

Dax did it again we have again the vacants but the old owner have not the keys...

I was on, and after you left ub3g, the server crashed, and all the notices were gone. What are you using to set them?

okay its /setnotice doorid 1 "your door name here"

you MUST put the 1 other wise if you put 0 it wont stay 1 = perm 0 = temp

first i do /door i get the door idea, then i do !setdoornotice 123 1 "VACANT:"
After thats done i do !setdoorprice 5000
I done all this like 2 times now and dax once so wow... whats going on..

/setdoornotice? It's /setnotice. Also try doing /setdoorprice first then /setnotice.

oops, i ment /setnotice, i get that mixed up sometimes, thats not the problem tho, k ill try setting price first....

Also put " " round each part. That helps the plugin a lot more too. So an example would be /setnotice "252" "1" "VACANT: $15000"

If that STILL doesn't work, i guess i could take a quick look at the plugin itself if Dax lets me.

No no. You still need to do /setdoorprice $15000; or whatever amount you want it to be, then do the /setnotice "252" "1" "VACANT: $15000". When doing the notice you need to state how much it is aswell, if that's not what you're doing, then i think we found your problem. Espically when people come to buy that particular apartment, it will screw the plugin up and cause it to stop.

Keep it simple. sm_setnotice <door#> 1 "VACANT:"

Then set the door price sm_setdoorprice 25000

Yeh man, thats what i do, thanks every one for the help, but its not that. mose said it has something to do with some files that this perticuler person has touched and messed up a bit. Iv tryed putting the doors up all those ways, they get deleted later on the day. (ussually when server restarts).

OK I HAVE SET THE DOORS AGAIN SEVERAL TIMES SINCE THESE POSTS AND AS MUCH A S I DONT KNOW, I KNOW HOW TO SET DOORS AND I HAVE DONE IT CORRECTLEY, IT IS VERY STRANGE BECAUSE IT IS ONLY THE a,b,c APTS AND ALL THE ASSOCIATED DOORS,ANY OTHER DOORS ON THE MNAP ARE FINE,WESTIE YOU ARE WELCOME TO LOOK AT THE PLUG-IN/FILES I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOU NEVER DID HAVE SO OF COURSE I DONT MIND.IT IS A TOTAL MYSTERY TOO ME AS TO WHY THEY KEEP REVERTING TO BLANK DOORS AND THAT IT IS ONLY THESE DOORS.

Okay. I've looked through the doors.txt file and from what it seems, there are LOADS of doors that do not have any notices but DO have quite a few owners. I think what should be tried first is deleting the whole .txt file for doors and re-upload a default one. This is for which server again? I looked at the files on Server 1 i believe.

Alternatively, go around all the doors and get me the Door ID's and i'll sort it out from there.

its server 2 i belive and ofcource server one will have loads of doors its a HUGE confusing map

Its For RP 2, All doors in apartment building A,B and C Right by the park,next to Pd and Big bank, those attached buildings. ill get the door ID's as soon as i find some time.

Okay, what i've done is deleted everything from the doors.txt file on server 2. What will need to be done now is someone who has the time and patience go around and sort all the doors out, including doing sm_setdoorprice. This SHOULD work. Doors.txt was an incredibly messy file before i removed it all, i expect something was adjusted and messed it up.

I got no problem doing it so basicly /door then /setnotice DOORID 1 "VACANT:" then /setdoorprice 5000 . Thats it right? ill do it tomorrow,
